Decoration

A large crosshatched area, pointed at both ends, probably represents a net and occupies the largest part of the interior wall of the vessel. A crocodile, seen in top view, is depicted between the two pointed ends, as if captured inside the net. Its head is lozenge-shaped and its body crosshatched. Series of dots on the tail represent the scales of the hide. The four legs end with small circles or two small strokes, all representing the animal’s toes. The bottom of the vessel is not decorated
