Comments
Robert Forrer published a number of palettes that he said he found at Akhmim during his short excavation work in 1894. However, most were already published in 1891 and were likely purchased. Since this palette PAL-0090 did not appear in the illustrations prior to 1901, it is unclear if it was purchased with the others or, indeed, perhaps found at Akhmim, although Akmim would appear to be an unlikely findspot for predynastic material.
