Akhmim
Akhmim is a site in Upper Egypt that was exacavated, among others, by Robert Forrer. He wrongfully attributed a number of palettes to that site, pretending to have found them during excavation work, but he had publihsed line drawings of these objects in 1891, three years before his excavation. It is unlikely that any predyastic material was ever found at Akmim.
