General range of C-ware production

Material : Nile silt (Painted)

Preservation : Sherd

Decoration preservation : Mostly faded

Decoration

On the outside, a motif resembles the shape of the Greek capital sigma; it may be a half-preserved tassel-like / flail / trophy motif. To the left is an oblique line connected to the extremities of at least three horizontal lines, not dissimilar from how one would expect the head of a hippopotamus to look like, although not enough of the decoration is preserved to determine its nature.

On the inside, only the top extremities of near-vertical, parallel lines are preserved.
