Description
The exterior surface is not slipped.
Decoration
Three parallel zigzags run around the rim. Below, four hippopotami facing left and following one another occupy most of the interior of the bowl. There is no detail of the features of their heads, and their muzzles are square. They have short tails and legs, which end with small dots. The bodies and heads are filled in with cross-hatching and the silhouettes are emphasised with an additional line. There are two concentric lines at the bottom of the vessel.
