Née Rusen, Marianne Maspero was the wife of Pierre (Théodore Gaston) Maspero (1907–1979), the grandson of Egyptologist Gaston Maspero and the son of (Gaston René) Georges Maspéro (1872–1942; his mother was Hariette Yapp, first wife of Gaston).
