Louis Caulton  West  ( 15.10.1882  -  01.1972 )

Louis Caulton West was an American archaeologist, financier, numismat, and classisist. He graduated from Northwestern University before studying at Harvard with George A. Reinser. He worked for two yeras for the Joint Harvard University – Boston Museum of fine Arts Egyptian Expedition (1912–1914). During that time, he notably excavated the predynastic sites of Naqa el-Hai and at Mesaid.
