Hellmut  Brunner  ( 11.05.1913  -  18.02.1997 )

A German Egyptologist, Hellmut Brunner studied Egyptology in Berlin, University College London (1933–1934), and in Munich. He worked in Egypt with Roeder at Hermopolis and led an academic career at the University of Tübingen, where he was in charge of the Egyptian collection of Tübingen University which he and his wife published. He also organised an exhibition in Stuttgart and Hanover in 1984 which displayed material from Tübingen and other German museums.
