Georg  Möller  ( 05.11.1876  -  02.10.1921 )

Georg Möller was a German Egyptologist who studied from 1896 at Humboldt University under Adolf Erman. He received his doctoral degree in 1900. He took part in excavations at the pyramid of Nyuserre Ini under Ludwig Borchardt (1902–1903). He was later employed in the German consulate in Cairo (1904–1907); during that time he excavated at Abusir el-Meleq and Abu Zeidan (1905–1906). He further worked at Abusir (1907–1908) and Deir el-Medina (1911–1912). He returned to Humboldt University, where he became professor in 1916.
