Description
A wooden comb with a carved hippopotamus figurine on top of it. The comb has 11 widely spaced teeth, some are longer in the center and shorter in the extremities. The back two feet are only seperated by a slot but the front two are seperated just under the belly and rejoined at the edge of the comb. The represented of the hippo is quite unusual. The hippopotamus figurine is not well detailed, with concave belly, long legs and no tail. The head is squared with no details of eyes, ears or nostrils.
