Description
Stylised bull's head amulet without the usual horizontal perforation at the back; the eyes are, also unusually, drilled throug the object and could have been used for hanging instead of the back perforation. The horns are not indicated. A triangular, vertical groove on the front of the head may have been intentionally created, or may result from ancient damage to the ivory (the shape of the groove follows the natural ivory growth lines). The base is particularly long, and seems to imitate a braided beard. The lower end of the base is separated by a horizontal line and filled with cross hatching.
The back of the head is decorated with a large number of depressions drilled on the surface; each has a smaller, deeper depression in its centre.
