Dated after the Tell el-Farkha stratigraphy.

Material : Bone (Carved)

Preservation : Almost complete

Fragment missing at the base and on right side. Black discoloration on the surface.

Description

Stylised bull's head amulet with a horizontal perforation at the back. The horns are not indicated  but suggested by two holes drilled where the interior curve of the  horns should be. The eyes are drilled on the surface, resembling disc beads. Two deep lines are incised around the base, probably to be inlaid with paste.
