Description

Stylized bull's head amulet with a horizontal perforation at the back. The horns are clearly marked and touch at the ends. Around the base is a small, protruding rim.

Decoration

The eyes are drilled and inlaid with eggshell discs.

Comments

This pendant was found together with four tubular calcite beads and several disc beads carved in garnet and blue-glazed quartz (and/or chalcedony). They may originally have formed a necklace but no details are mentioned in the excavation report.
