Head of animal broken off.
Description
Rhomboid palette with a Barbary sheep (?) emblem on top of one of the extremities. The animal (head broken off) has zigzag legs Between the legs is on both faces a series of inlaid ivory annules (some lost). The palette is angular at the ends of the shorter axis and has a pointed extremity.
Object use
The palette probably has slight hollowing in the central area but the available documentation is inconclusive.
