General range of rhomboid palettes production. Because the palette has been reworked and was found in the Naqada III cemetery at Turah, it may have been a heirloom.

Preservation : Complete

Description

Heavily damaged rhomboid palette. The palette is rounded / angular at the ends of the shorter axis and has one pointed extremity. The other extremity is reworked.

Decoration

Rougly incised cross on one face.

Object use

The palette has been used on both faces, before the cross was incised.
