The find context  and the contents of tomb a15 have not been published. Rhomboid palettes can generally be dated to Naqada I–II. The palette is dated to Naqada Ia–IIb by Patenaude & Shaw (2011: 10).

Preservation : Complete

Description

This small rhomboid palette is rounded at the ends of the shorter axis and has rounded extremities.

 

Object use

The palette probably has slight hollowing in the central area of one face but the available documentation is inconclusive. There is damage on the edges, probably due to use.
