Settlement deposit 3284 was dated to SD 37–38 (Brunton & Caton-Thompson 1928: pl. XXXII). An early Naqada II date can be suggested.

Material : Greywacke

Preservation information :

Light damage to the edges.

Description

This small rhomboid palette is rounded at the ends of the shorter axis and has rounded extremities. It is perforated at one extremity; because of its small size, it can be suggested that this artefact is a miniature model of an average-size palette, perhaps used as a pendant or amulette.
