Description
Boat model with a flat bottom, an upright stern and a raised prow. The interior is hollow. This model shows a slight ressemblance similarities with another one kept in the Petrie Museum (UC. 9024) and also discovered in Matmar (Cim. 5100, tomb 25/5452). Their chronological position is different, though, since this model belongs to Naqada IIB while the one from the Petrie Museum is considered to belong to the Badarian period.
