Description

Only the upper part of the inside has been slipped and polished.

Decoration

Five small animals are painted on the inside of the flairing rim, on the red-polished band. Four appear to be antelopes but with such stylised details that it is not possible to identify the intended species. The animal painted immediately to the right of a double-zigzag has frontward-pointing horns or ears, as does another one that is painted upside-down, with its feet  at the rim. Only one animal seems to have clearly antelope-like horns: it is located to the right of a vertical design that may represent a plant motif (?). One or two of these animals may represent dogs rather than antelopes, in which case the scene should be considered a hunting scene.
