A concentric line is painted on the rim. Twenty vertical lines that extend from this line and join at the bottom of the bowl are unevenly spaced. The remaining vertical lines are grouped between these narrow triangles with the following pattern (starting from the double-triangle, going counterclockwise): three lines, two lines, no line, two lines, two lines.

Comments

The drawing produced by Quibell (1905) is inacurate. Quibell (1905) listed the provenance of this artefact as Saghel el-Baglia, without suggesting that this provenance had been used erroneously, instead of Gebel el-Tarif. This is however likely the case. See de Morgan (1896, 1897).
