Repaired; sherd missing at rim. Surface abraded at rim.
Description
The bowl is only red-slipped on the inside.
Decoration
At rim, four large, downturned triangles are unequally spaced and do not exactly face one another; there is a fifth, smaller, downturned triangle. The decoration of the triangles is unusual: it consists of downturned chevrons over which horizontal or arching lines are painted. These lines are sometimes only faintly preserved and do not all appear in the published drawings. The tip of each large triangle is connected to a vertical band that connects to a concentric line at the bottom of the bowl. Three of these bands are crosshatched, while one only consists of vertical lines of uneven length. Four parallel lines are painted inside the concentric line at the bottom.
