Decoration

Remains of two small, downturned triangles filled with chevrons; below each is a large group of parallel, downturned chevrons (ten chevrons on the right, at least nine chevrons on the left); a single vertical line joins the tip of the small triangles to the chevrons below. Each lowermost chevron is connected at its apex to the tip of a small, upturned triangle filled with chevrons. A concentric line, painted roughly 1cm below the rim, crosses over the dowturned chevrons.

According to the Online catalogue, there is a concentric line at the bottom, from which the upturned triangles arise, and within which are two chevrons; this is not clearly visible on the available photographs of the sherd.
