Salmany (Abydos)

The prehistoric cemetery of Salmany (cemetery S) is located about 350m to the north-east of Cemetery U at Abydos. It was excavated by Abdullah el Sayed in 1966–67 on behalf of the 'Organization of Egyptian Antiquities'; it contained 136 graves.
