The birth date of Sarah Jane L. DeCoursey is uncertain. She was the widow of Dillwyn Parrish and gave several artefacts to the UPenn Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in 1914. Her collections was sold at auction shortly after her death (The Dillwyn Parrish Collection, Sotheby's, London, 5 July 1928).
