François  Cramer  ( 1903  -  1995 )

François Cramer was a Swiss banker and manager, the son of Lucien Édouard Cramer (1868–1953) and Adrienne Marcuard (1877–1963). After the passing of his parents, he inherited (part of?) the collection created by his grandfather Ernest Cramer (1838–1923), who was a (distant) cousin of Swiss Egyptologist Édouard Naville with whom he had travelled in Egypt in the late 1880's.

That collection included at least one predynastic artefact (C-0344) that was sold in 2004.
