Naqada II according the Musée du Louvre; on comparison with well-provenanced examples, it is likely of Naqada IID date.

Some wear. Eye inlays lost. Most decoration still clear, though number of toes difficult to ascertain.
Description
Seated frog-shaped vessel. Made of dark gray chlorite with white flecks. Eye inlays lost. Eye holes face forward and sit high on head, which is raised. Leg carvings worn. Toes carved; appears to be five to each foot on front and back, but scratches make it unclear if this is accurate. Mouth line carved in face. Rim of vessel has no lip and sits somewhat crooked on the back of the vessel. Lug handles halfway up vessel, or perhaps a bit higher, and horizontal.
Decoration
Eye inlays lost. Legs carved and worn. Mouth carved. Toes carved into legs; probably 5 to each limb. Rim of vessel is lipless and sits crooked on the back of the frog. Lug handles horizontal and halfway up the vessel, or a bit more.
