Description

Elephant ivory comb with an hippopotamus figurine carved on the top. The comb originally has 15 teeth and 3 of which are missing. The hippopotamus figurine has 2 short legs and a rounded belly. The head of the hippopotamus is simply represented with squared muzzle. The ears and eyes are represented by small protuberances on the head.
