Description

The rhomboid palette is rounded at the ends of the shorter axis and has rounded extremities. A hole is drilled next to one of the angles of the long side, likely for attaching a string or thong.

Object use

The palette probably has slight hollowing in the central area but the available documentation is inconclusive. According to Reisner (1910: 248) there are traces of malachite on the palette.
