There are no other objects from tomb H563 (cf. Adams 1974: 104); dated after the general range of rhomboid palettes production.

Both horns are broken off.

Description

Rhomboid palette with an horn emblem (largely broken off) on top of one of the extremities. The palette is angular at the ends of the shorter axis and has a pointed extremity.

 

Object use

The palette has been used, causing shallow hollowing in the central area of at least one face.
