Description

The rhomboid palette has inconspicuous angular projections at the ends of the shorter axis and pointed extremities (one broken off).

 

Object use

The palette probably has slight hollowing in the central area but the available documentation is inconclusive.

Comments

On the palette is written "radim", meaning most probably that it was either a surface find from Naqada or Ballas, or that the palette was found in the disturbed fill of an unidentified tomb. Examination of the piece might reveal further information written in pencil by the excavator.
