Description

The rhomboid palette has angular projections at the ends of the shorter axis and probably had pointed extremities (broken off).

 

Object use

The palette is deeply hollowed by use in the centre of at least one face.

Comments

The online database of the Medelhavsmuseet entions "Ghâbâr, Upper Egypt, 1913" as provenance, which remains unclear. It also notes the presence of an additional marking: Falmouth Museum.
