Description

Small-sized (or miniature?) rhomboid palette with a horns emblem ending in bird heads at one of the extremities. The palette is rounded at the ends of the shorter axis and has a rounded extremity.

 

Decoration

The horns are seemingly separated from one another by a hole drilled throught the thickness of the palette.

Object use

No obvious traces of use can be noted on the available documentation.

Comments

The provenance is suggested by an old sticker glued on one side of the palette, where "Abydos" can be read. The letters FB are added in pencil on the other side.
