Two sherds from the rim of the same vessel, not joining; ca 10% of rim diameter preserved. Surface partly eroded. Preserved height is ca. 8.2 cm.
Description
The preserved fragments shows the beginning of a protuberance at the bottom, which suggests that the vessel may have had (four?) feet.
Decoration
On the inside of the vessel, remains of a compartments, with double outline, containing 10 parallel horizontal wavy lines preserved. At the top, small downturned chevrons fill the spaces left by the zigzag along the rim. The compartment extended further down.
On the outside, remains of the central part of the body of a crocodile, likely oriented with its head toward the left; its right front and back leg are preserved, each displaying tows. The outline of the body is doubled and the animal's belly is filled with parallel horizontal wavy lines, painted in groups of three, with a narrow gap between each group.
The smaller fragments shows similar decoration. On the inside, part of the doubled edge of a compartment and remains of six parallel horizontal wavy lines. On the outside, only a small portion of the decoration is preserved,with traces of a doubled outline and other lines that may belong to the body of a crocodile.
