Two downturned triangles filled with chevrons are connected to one another. The same design may have been present on the opposite side of the vessel, while a single downturned triangle filled with chevrons seems to be depicted inbetween, leaving wide gaps between the different motifs.

Comments
The Online catalogue of the Musée du Louvre lists this bowl as coming from el-Amra. However, it is not discussed nor photographed by E. Amélineau in his excavation report, which details the C-ware vessels from that site. This bowl may instead have been found at Abydos, as suggested by the archaeological context "Ab. 24" mentioned by the Louvre.
