The lip of the rim is abraded. The decoration is only visible as a faint ghost impression on the red-polished background.

Decoration

Remains of nine parallel oblique lines (top right to bottom left) and, to the right, of two other parallel oblique lines (top-left to bottom right) suggest that two downturned triangles filled with chevrons were painted below the rim. However, it cannot be excluded that that the triangles were crosshatched.
