Decoration

Two concentric, horizontal double lines define the decorative space: one runs below the rim, the other at the level of the maximum diameter. Between them is a continuous series of upturned triangles filled with chevrons. The exact number of triangles is uncertain as not all sides of the vessel are visible on display, but there is room for, seemingly, three or four more than the six that can be seen.

The designs are not executed with great accuracy, with the width between the horizontal lines varying greatly and the extremities of the chevrons sometimes extending below the level of the horizontal line.
