Decoration

Two large downturned crosshatched triangles face one another. In the two spaces left between them, a slightly smaller crosshatched triangle is painted on one side. On the opposite side are three small downturned triangles filled with chevrons along the rim and a wide crosshatched chevron below; the short crossing lines extend beyond the chevron, creating a fringe along its underside. A tripple zigzag at the bottom of the vessel touches the fringe on one end, and almost reaches to the crosshatched triangle on the opposite side.
